Attaching bias cut pocket on to a garment

It is not that easy to attach bias cut pocket on to a garment if you are not experienced in handle of stretchy side of rigid fabrics. I did a short video on YouTube that shows step by step how you can do it easily. Enjoy watching it. and,, try this as well to improve your sewing skill :)

SW-L47- Easy sewing steps for Cross over Top

This is how I sew my Cross over top. First, get ready with size blocks and fabric panels. I have made UK size 10. Below are the panels needed for make this top.

So, follow the steps as below;

1. Preparations

Make tie ups at the sides.

Do the binding to the arm holes of side panels and attach ties leaving 1" from bottom hem.

Do the Hem of sleeves and gathering at armhole side respectively.

2. Constructions

Attach shoulders and overlock them
Do the binding around neck neatly
Attach sleeves to the armholes.
Attach prepared side panels to body panels
Overlock around them
Close front panels by overlapping notches.
Give a good pressing

*Now it's bottom part;

Join side seams together.
Do the gathering to front part
Attach both upper and bottom parts.
Do the hem at bottom

Give a good pressing finally!
